I have captured this heron in total darkness. The camera sensor was open for 30 seconds and captured everything that happened in front of it. So now we can see the path that this bird took. How did it move? Well, it would take a step and then it would remain frozen for a few seconds, then another step and again a few seconds without moving, and so on all the time.

The Semáforo (the House of Signals) is a historic building built at the end of the 19th century in the Prat de Llobregat area. This house was built with the purpose of regulating maritime traffic along the coast and reducing the number of accidents. This was achieved by installing traffic lights equipped with optical telegraphs that, following a pre-established code, allowed communication with ships sailing along the coast.

For communications they used the language of flags, which hung from a long pole, and optical telegraphy. From the viewpoint of the building the signs of the Castell de Montjuïc and those of the boats could be seen.

The vigilantes lived in the Semaphore with their families to guarantee permanent surveillance. Around 1910 it ceased to be used as a Semaphore and began to be used as a home for Carabineros officers. It was definitively abandoned in 1930.
